Her grandfather named her Siddima. However, this is not the name she stuck with. She stuck with the name Kareena which she was given by her mother. The name was derived from a book her mother was reading while pregnant with her. The book was titled Anna Karenina. Another name she goes by is Bebo; she was given this nickname by her father. Most of her friends and family members call her Bebo.
Catfights: Kareena Kapoor doesn’t have many BFFs on set. On many occasions, she doesn’t get along with other female actors. She sparked a rivalry with Bipasha Basu after calling her a ‘black cat’ while they were working together.
