On the onset, I would like to make a confession. I am a ‘die hard’ Parineeti Chopra fan. Whether it be her great looks, her mind blowing dressing sense or her always congenial mood, she is, in all ways, adorable. However, many of us fans don’t know about the other half of Parineeti. This half likes playing with numbers and dreams of making a career out of singing!
1. Parineeti was an all India Topper in her 12th standard
Yes, you heard that right. She has repeatedly confessed in interviews that she was a very sincere student. In fact, she received an award for her achievement from none other than Pratibha Patil, the then President of India.
2. She has a – wait for it! – TRIPLE degree in business, economics and management from Manchester University
Parineeti always dreamed of being a successful Investment Banker. She says that numbers used to give her an adrenaline rush! To that end, she successfully pursued a triple degree from Manchester University.
3. A trained singer, she has a BA (Hons) in Music
As evident from her recently released track, she has a great voice. However, this voice hasn’t come out of no where. She has worked on it. Besides a BA (Hons) in Music, she has sung in many programs throughout her childhood.
4. She is a devoted humanitarian and active in charity work
Parineeti, along with a great brain and looks, seems to have a great heart too! She set a great example by taking to the ramp in the Indian Fashion Week organised by Wills Lifestyle to support the Shabana Azmi Mijwan welfare society. This welfare society helps in empowering the girl child.
After getting to know this side of Parineeti, I have really started to admire her as a person. No doubt, she is a true star!

1. Fight with Shraddha Kapoor
Oops! Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor are in bit of a tight situation. Both of them want to exclusively perform at the upcoming Justin Beiber concert in Mumbai to promote their respective films. While we really want Parineeti to sing, the jury is still out on who will get the spot!
2. ‘Maana Ki Hum Yaar Nahin’ was not auto tuned
In a twitter post, Parineeti Chopra has revealed that the song was not auto tuned at all. Recently, we have all seen great singers shunning bollywood playback songs as they feel that they are all auto tuned. Consequentially, they lack originality. But not Parineeti, her awesome voice is good enough. There is really no need for any other intervention!
3. Want to be a Producer
After Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma, it is Parineeti Chopra’s turn. In a recently published interview, the actress has confessed that even she would like to be a producer someday. According to her, she has a business mindset which can be combined with a passion for film making to produce rich dividends. So, here’s wishing her a big all the best for her career as a producer.
