Shilpa Shetty is a well-known and successful actress. Shilpa was born in 1975.She plays roles in Indian films and movies. Shilpa is married to Raj Kundra and they have one child together, Viaan Raj Kundra. She is also a successful businesswoman, a former model and a winner of a huge British reality TV series known as Celebrity Big Brother 5. Shilpa has appeared in several Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films.

In her teenage years, she performed modelling assignments and appeared in several television commercials. She made her first acting debut in 1993 in the thriller movie Baazigar where she earned a nomination for a Filmware Award as a Best Supporting Actress and as a Lux New Face of the Year.
She played a role in a very successful action comedy movie, the Main Khiladi Tu Anari. This success was followed by a poor Box Office response for a period of five years. In 2000 she played a role in Dhadkan which was a box office hit and this marked a turning point in her acting career. She was nominated for the Best Actress in several award ceremonies.
Later on, she was featured as a leading role in several top rated Indian films such as Garv a cop drama in 2004, a Kannada Film Auto Shankar in 2005 and a family drama Apne in 2007. Shetty became well known globally after she won an award for the British reality show Celebrity Big Brother 5.
Shilpa is a prominent celebrity endorser for various brands and products and she has also served as a talent judge for reality show such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Nach Baliye.
Shilpa is now a film producer and also a co-owner of an Indian Premier League team known as the Rajasthan Royals. She started film production in 2014 producing the film Dishkiyaaoon. When producing the film, she met her current husband Raj Kundra.
